The President's Foreclosure Prevention Plan

Basic requirements * for the "Making Home Affordable" Program

  1. You have a current or foreseeable financial hardship
  2. You live in the property as your primary residence
  3. Your loan must be a 1st  lien
  4. You must be able to confirm that you do not have sufficient cash or other readily available assets to make your monthly mortgage payments
  5. The closing date on your loan must have been on or before January 1, 2009
